It was a busy Sunday just gone, starting with a brisk walk into Worcester to capture over 3,000 runners participating in the Worcester 10k and Half Marathon. I arrived with plenty of time to catch the tail end of the kids run which took a shorter circuit around the city. Before long, the main event runners were starting to warm up ready to tackle the course. It was great to see so many runners raising money for different local charities hoping to make a difference, not forgetting some of the amazing fun running outfits!
I wasn’t able to stay too long into the race as I had to be in Malvern to capture photographs of the Chandos Symphony Orchestra at the Malvern Theatres. With some fantastic music on display, it was a joy to photograph all the musicians whilst they were putting all their effort into the final touches before their concert.
The style of photography I was shooting was my favourite as it allowed me to tell a story through the emotions that the musicians were demonstrating. This style allows the audience to feel more engaged with the story that is being told.
